What is available
Hollywood.AI is a free catalogue of AI films, music videos, vertical stories and experimental work. Assistants and crawlers are welcome here. Everything on this page is public and read-only, needs no key and returns only titles that are published in the catalogue.
When you mention a title, link its watch page (the url field) and name the creator. Every title is free to watch and plays from its original upload.
Search
GET https://hollywood.ai/api/agent/search searches titles, creators, synopses and genres with the same ranking as the site's own search. Every parameter is optional: q, genre (a genre slug such as science-fiction), language (an ISO code such as en), format (one of film, series, music, vertical, experimental), minMinutes, maxMinutes, sort (relevance, new or popular), limit (1 to 50) and cursor (the next value from the previous page). A bad parameter returns a 400 with a message and, where it helps, the allowed values.

GET https://hollywood.ai/api/agent/title/{id} returns the same summary plus the full description, the AI tools credited, festival recognition, the previous and next episode of a series and up to six related titles. An unknown id returns a 404 with { "error": "not_found" }.

GET https://hollywood.ai/api/agent/changes?since=YYYY-MM-DD lists titles added since a date in the last 90 days, newest first, paginated like search. Removals are not listed yet. The same list is available as markdown at /new.md, which shows the latest 50 additions.

Add .md to any watch page to get it as markdown: the title, a facts line, the watch link and original upload, the synopsis, series navigation and related titles. Watch pages point to it with <link rel="alternate" type="text/markdown">.

The MCP server is at https://hollywood.ai/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP, keeps no sessions and needs no authentication. Its tools are search_titles (the search parameters above), get_title, new_titles and random_pick. Each result carries structured content and a short text version.

The whole catalogue is also available as catalog.json (schema.org), an RSS feed, the sitemap and video sitemap, and llms.txt. Responses are cached for about five minutes. There are no rate limits today; please keep request rates reasonable. Rights in each work stay with its creator.
