About the programme
The 2026 competition invited seven-to-ten-minute films made primarily with Google's generative AI tools. Twelve films reached the public shortlist, five premiered at the summit and one film received the $1 million award.

Eligibility
Open worldwide, one entry per person. Films must run seven to ten minutes, include English subtitles and be at least 70% AI-generated, with Google Gemini-family tools used for video generation.

Selection process
An expert committee selects twelve films, a public vote follows, five films premiere at the summit and the final winner receives the award.
