About the festival
The 2026 challenge invited Indian filmmakers, studios and collectives to create an original two-to-three-minute film with an end-to-end AI workflow. The ten selected films screened at IFFD, with awards presented during the festival.
The official hackathon page describes Best Film and runner-up awards but does not provide a public result list. Hollywood.AI keeps the outcomes unset until the organizer names them.
Entry criteria
2026 hackathon rules
Open to Indian individuals, studios, collectives and student creators in teams of up to five. Films must be original, created entirely during the 48-hour window, run two to three minutes and use AI across the end-to-end workflow.
The organizers select ten films for festival screening and name Best Film plus first and second runners-up during IFFD.
