BURLAK

BURLAK is a science-fiction short film made for the Higgsfield Global Film Festival. The sky never stops burning with lightning, and electricity has to be hauled as freight across causeways high above a black sea. A thirteen-year-old runaway finds the father who abandoned her, a disgraced freight-racing champion, and gives him thirty days to win back his licence and keep her.
