ANANKÉ A new AI service is taking Tokyo by storm. For a small fee, ANANKÉ claims it can reveal the exact date of a person's death. Kenji intends to try it. But throughout the day, a series of seemingly insignificant events keeps getting in the way: a postponed meeting, a proud waitress offering a slice of homemade cake, a bus driver delayed by a phone call, a friend urging him to finally get his answer.
