MAI

MAI is a short film about Aaron, a nine-year-old boy holding tightly to the promise of a trip with his mother, and slowly beginning to understand that the world she has promised him may not exist. Set in 1995, the film follows Aaron through an ordinary day as hope, denial and the complicated love between a child and his mother begin to collide.
